Problem

ChatGPT never mentions us

AI assistants quote plain facts from well-structured pages. A homepage written to persuade gives them little to work with. If your facts aren’t stated plainly and marked up, the model has nothing to cite.

This is for you if…

Recognise two of these? Let’s talk
  • ChatGPT and other AI assistants never mention us, even for our own category
  • Competitors show up in AI answers and we don’t
  • We don’t know what AI search engines say about us
  • Our pages are written for people scrolling, and nothing else
The diagnosis

Why this happens.

What not to do

[YOU]: the most expensive AI-search mistake you have seen a client make before calling you.

How I’d approach it

I check what AI assistants currently say about you, restructure the pages and facts so they can be quoted directly, add schema and an llms.txt, and track mentions over time.

Questions I get.

Short answers, straight from me
What is AI search optimisation (AEO/GEO)?

Structuring your site’s facts, pages and markup so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can quote you in their answers.

Why don’t we show up in ChatGPT answers?

Most sites are written for a person scrolling. A model looks for short, clear statements and schema, and if it can’t find them, it quotes someone else.

Does this replace normal SEO?

No, you need both. Good technical SEO and clear content help Google and the AI assistants.

How do you measure progress?

By checking what named AI assistants say about you before and after the work, and tracking whether you start appearing in their answers for your category.
