Tech Advisory

Tech advice that starts with people.

Most expensive tech problems start as human ones: a visitor who can’t find the button, a marketer waiting on a ticket, a platform picked for the wrong reasons. I find those, fix what costs you most, and stay on as your tech lead for as long as you need one.

People visit. Nobody gets in touch.

I watch where visitors get confused, slowed down or lost, then rebuild the path to one obvious next step. Where I did it: Home Music Teachers. A site built around booking a first lesson. Enquiries up 80%.

Nobody owns your tech, and every vendor says yes.

I step in on your side of the table: one roadmap, honest reviews of agencies and vendors, and someone who can say no. Where I did it: Vegconomist. Took over three language sites full of tech debt, cleaned them up and launched cultivated-x.com on solid ground.

You need a relaunch but can’t risk your rankings.

Every URL gets a new home before launch day. Redirects, content and tracking are planned, not patched afterwards. Where I did it: Brilyant. Relaunched one company site in three markets: India, the UAE and the USA.

Your product is good. Your website doesn’t explain it.

I tell the story the way your customer lives it: their problem first, then your product, then one clear ask. Where I did it: Diligent. A calm, story-led site that shows one lead being missed, then answered in under a minute, before it asks for a call.

Too many servers, too many bills, too much upkeep.

I find what can be merged, move it onto one solid setup and make it fast, so you pay for and maintain one thing instead of many. Where I did it: Leverage Edu. Eight sites on eight servers, merged into one WordPress multisite on one server. Seven servers and their upkeep are gone.

Your team answers the same questions all day.

I start with the questions you hear most, automate those well, and make sure everything else reaches a person. Where I did it: chatbot.ac. My own product for AI chat and support automation, run with Some Tech Work.

How it goes.

From first call to staying on
  1. Day one

    The first call

30 minutes, free. You tell me what’s broken. I tell you honestly whether I’m the right person to fix it.

  2. Week one

    Under the hood

I go through your site, analytics, hosting, tools and contracts, and talk to the people who use them every day.

  3. Then

    One page of priorities

What to fix first, what to stop doing and what it costs. Plain language you can forward to your board.

  4. Next

    Getting it done

With your team, your agency, or the people at Some Tech Work and V9 Studio. I stay accountable either way.

  5. After launch

    Staying on

Monthly check-ins, vendor reviews and hiring help. A tech lead on your side, without a full-time salary.
